Join to apply for the Health & Safety Manager role at LF Legal Translation Services We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Health & Safety Manager to join a fantastic manufacturing company in Eastleigh. Introduction The Health & Safety Manager will develop and maintain Health, Safety & Environmental programmes and coordinate activities associated with the HS&E policies and procedures on site. Responsibilities Implement and monitor programs and procedures to ensure total compliance with all laws and regulations and support development of HSE programmes as required. Maintain external HSE accreditation certification and interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accreditation status. Assist in communicating hazard control information and evaluate effectiveness of the controls. Conduct safety audits throughout the facility, report results and follow up to ensure discrepancies are corrected. Act as a HSE contact when dealing with regulatory agencies, and train management to understand HSE regulations and standards. Develop training materials and conduct HSE training, including new hire orientation. Develop and implement 6S initiatives related to Environmental & Safety. Ensure all incidents, near misses and hazards are reported on the database accordingly, and manage and communicate HSE KPIs to drive improvement and awareness. Ideal Experience NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent in a similar environmental field with relevant professional HSE experience preferably within manufacturing. Proficient in Microsoft applications. ISO14001 Environmental Management certification and ISO45001 health safety standard. Previous facilities management experience is not essential, but excellent project management skills are required for this role. LEAN and 6S knowledge / experience. Salary £45K - £50K (Pro Rata) Hours Part Time 16-25 hours per week, flexible on days and the hours required.
