Commissioning Engineer – North London

Our client is a well‑regarded environmental company offering a variety of HVAC/water treatment services to clients throughout the UK. The ideal candidate will be a committed and hardworking Commissioning Engineer based in and around North London. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out validations and balancing air and water systems on a variety of contract types with experience working on hospital sites. Previous experience validating critical ventilation systems in line with HTM guidelines will also be essential. Applications from Watford, Enfield, Hatfield, St Albans and the surrounding areas will be considered.Qualifications & ExperienceMust have experience in inspecting and balancing air and water systemsMust have experience carrying out validations on air and water systemsPrevious experience working on critical ventilation systems is essentialProven ability to analyse schematic drawings and survey reports in order to commission system correctlyMust have a good water treatment, chemical, technical and maintenance backgroundMust be fully conversant in relevant health and safety and compliance legislation specifically HTM‑0301 guidelinesPossess excellent communication skillsCompetent in using the Microsoft office packageA good working knowledge of the water industryExperience working in a water treatment commissioning role within the water treatment industry essentialResponsibilitiesCarrying out commissioning duties on air and water systems, including balancing, inspection and validationsCalibrating equipment to accurately balance water systemsEnsure compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company standardsCarry out service work strictly in‑keeping with client’s specificationsConduct training of staff when requiredInspect project installs when requiredProduce reports and prepare quotationsUndertaking some water treatment duties to suit business needsMaintaining a professional working relationship with the company’s clientsBenefitsA competitive salary, depending on experience, company vehicle and many other benefits awaits the successful candidate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
