Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Prepare Group statutory accounts under IFRS and support subsidiary accounts under FRS101 Coordinate external audit processes and liaise with auditors Manage climate-related disclosures and risk registers Prepare risk register reporting and market announcements Projects & Controls: Lead external financial controls audits and internal audit reporting Drive improvements in internal control frameworks Develop fraud risk processes and support insurance and acquisition accounting Management Reporting & Forecasting: Collate ESG and SECR data Support budgeting, re-forecasting, and analyst consensus reporting Enhance reporting processes for Board-level MI Technical Centre of Excellence: Provide technical accounting support across divisions Draft accounting memos and maintain Group policies and procedures Treasury & Tax: Oversee cash flow forecasting and covenant compliance Liaise with tax advisors and review tax computations and provisions Qualifications A relevant professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Strong technical accounting knowledge and expertise in financial reporting. IFRS knowledge. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused mindset. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Job Offer Competitive salary of circa £75,000 - £85,000 12-15 month contract Hybrid working Variety of corporate benefits.
