Site Trainer Savers Stead House Distribution Centre, Darlington. Hours Monday to Friday 22:00-06:00. Total 40 hours per week with flexibility across shift patterns. Introduction Join our Supply Chain team as a Site MHE instructor. Deliver MHE training (basic and refresher) and ensure safe working practices to reduce incidents. Key Responsibilities Deliver MHE training and use the FMS system. Support site inductions for MHE and manual handling. Complete risk assessment and safe systems of work with nominated persons. Provide technical skills training through a variety of delivery methods. Support onsite training buddies to deliver exceptional service. Review and update training content to RTITB / IITSAR recommendations. Keep updated on changes to RTITB and ITTSAR standards. Act as a safety ambassador, completing behavioural safety audits regularly. Requirements Enjoy working with people and can engage and motivate them. Good communication skills and in-depth knowledge of the FLT department. Patience and presence to help inexperienced operators become safe drivers. Self‑motivated with minimal supervision and reliable, dedicated work ethic. Meticulous attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
