Our client a well‑established and successful water treatment/hygiene company which provides a variety of professional and quality services to clients nationwide and they are now looking to employ a reliable and competent Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor to work on a variety of contracts in and around the Derby area. The company would consider experience water hygiene engineer who are looking to build upon they risk assessing experience. Applications from Nottingham, Leicester, Grantham, and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & experience Have relevant experience in this role. Excellent communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft office package. A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry. Consideration will also be given to someone with minimum Legionella Risk Assessing experience willing to train. Role Monitor the client’s air and water systems, ensuring they comply with the current Health & Safety legislation. Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers. Undertake temperature monitoring, routine sampling, analysing water systems and interpreting results. Installing and maintaining dosing systems. Legionella and TVC sampling. Servicing TMVs.
