As a Pharmacy Services Assistant, you’ll be joining an enthusiastic and hardworking team of colleagues that work together to make a positive difference to the lives of their patients. From working in the dispensary to keeping the shelves stocked and ready for customers, there is a wide range of duties for you to be involved in, such as: Delivering exceptional customer service, providing health advice and services to our patients through engaging conversations. Ensuring that every customer leaves the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs. Keeping the shop floor fully stocked and ready for customers through accepting and working deliveries and completing stock takes. Assisting with sales and general store duties including creating product displays and cash transactions. Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary, allowing and ensuring the safe supply of medicines. This could be through ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, and supporting the collection of prescriptions. Dispensing prescription medication and other medical products to patients under the direction of the Pharmacist, providing exemplary standards of patient care at all times. About You It isn’t just about experience or knowledge; we’re looking for people with a genuine passion for customer service and who will be ambassadors for healthcare in our pharmacies. To be successful in joining our team, you’ll need to show us: A natural ability to build meaningful relationships with both patients and colleagues. An upbeat, caring, and confident manner when serving and advising patients. An enthusiasm and talent for problem solving, eager to take on new challenges and experiences. A methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks, using your own initiative and teamwork skills to aid you. To be considered for this role, it is essential that you already have a Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Assistant and/or Dispensing.
