Job Overview

Be responsible for the delivery and development of the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy Services within CLCH.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly liaise with local GPs and other Health Professionals regarding patient care.
  • Provide comprehensive discharge and clinical reports in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and carers to maximize rehabilitation potential.
  • Demonstrate compassion and empathy while providing care.
  • Work collaboratively with team members.
  • Be accountable for all aspects of your work, managing patients effectively.
  • Provide equitable service for all patients.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments using investigative and analytical skills.
  • Triage referrals according to guidelines.

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively to patients and relatives.
  • Experience in collaborative working and case management.

Minimum Requirements

Education/Qualification

  • BSc Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council

Experience

  • Experience in an outpatient department and within an NHS environment.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Clinical Governance and recent research in physiotherapy.
  • Effective oral, listening, and written communication skills.
