IT Engineer Cheltenham £30,000 - £32,000 A growing organisation in Cheltenham is seeking an IT Engineer to join their team, providing hands‑on support across hardware, software, systems and networks. This is a varied role supporting employees across multiple sites, with onsite work primarily and occasional travel as required. The Role As the IT Engineer, you will: Provide IT support via phone, email and in person for a range of hardware, software and in‑house systems Set up and configure desktop and laptop equipment, ensuring systems are ready for use Diagnose and resolve issues across PCs, laptops, servers, networks, internet connectivity and telephony Support Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server 2019 and 2022, Active Directory, Office 365 and SQL Server Assist with line‑of‑business applications and internal systems Escalate complex issues where appropriate and work collaboratively with the wider IT team Travel to UK sites when required Required Experience At least 2 years in an IT Support or IT Engineer role Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration Experience with Windows Server operating systems Confident supporting PCs, laptops and core Microsoft technologies Good communication skills, both written and verbal Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving Full UK driving licence Benefits 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Death in Service Employee Assistance Programme Pension Recommend a Friend Bonus Scheme Performance Awards Long Service Awards If you are an IT Engineer looking for a hands‑on, varied role within a supportive team, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established organisation with strong development potential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
