Senior Physiotherapist (British Rowing – Women) Maternity Cover Caversham, Reading, England, United Kingdom British Rowing and the UK Sports Institute have an exciting opportunity as a full‑time Senior Physiotherapist to work with the Olympic Women’s squad. We are seeking an experienced practitioner who has worked with high‑performance sporting teams. You will be an integral member of a closely‑knit high‑performance team, collaborating with coaches specialised in rowing and strength and conditioning, and support personnel spanning various science and medicine roles. Together our goal is to assist rowers in achieving podium success on the global stage. Delivery will mainly be in person with the possibility of some remote/virtual support. Travel for camps and competitions associated with this role is approximately 85 days spread throughout the year, generally in blocks of up to 2 weeks. A typical week would be Monday to Friday, although there will be a need for weekend work as well as attendance of identified camps and competitions. Responsibilities include: Provide medical, physiotherapy and rehabilitation services for GB rowers. Collaborate with the Athlete Health (MSK) Lead and interdisciplinary support team. Assist in performance planning, injury prevention and recovery. Support training camps, competitions and major events. Qualifications and Requirements: Registered physiotherapist with relevant high‑performance experience. Strong understanding of musculoskeletal injury management. Ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment and under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion to learn more about rowing (previous experience not essential).
