LET’S TELL YOU MORE At Hafren Dyfrdwy we are a proud support of the Welsh language, that’s why we are excited to share an opportunity for you to join our team as a Welsh speaking Community Connector. This role will be responsible for working with our customers and external organisations face to face to deliver our Community and Vulnerability strategy across our region, together with providing training/coaching and expert advice to frontline teams on how we can support those who need extra help. Key Accountabilities Organising, managing and hosting external community events independently or in partnership with external organisations. Support our customer facing teams with any queries or when they identify customers that may need extra support. Identify and implement improvements to the customer journey for affordability support and drive efficiencies within the operational teams. Track performance of support schemes and services to ensure that KPIs are met. You’ll be based at our Packsaddle Head Office in Wrexham but will out and about visiting our communities and stakeholders a lot of the time. You’ll work within a small dedicated team and with this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, working across a range of times which could include evenings and weekends. What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role you must be able to communicate effectively in both Welsh and English. We are looking for you to have confidence when engaging with Stakeholders at all levels across the business and externally in both Welsh and English. Together with experience of working in a pressured reactive environment – internally and externally with members of the public. You’ll need to stay calm under pressure and be able to work autonomously. You will be working in a wide range of settings from education to employability. You could be in a school presenting to different age groups about what happens when you flush the toilet, or speaking to community groups about support with water bills and ways to save water. So, confidence in presenting if definitely something we need. Skills and experience are important, but character, positivity, and a caring attitude matter too.
