Pace, based in City Of London, England, United Kingdom, is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract (potential to extend) with a salary range of £70,000‑£75,000 plus benefits. Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) Consolidation Project within our IT organisation. The role focuses on streamlining and integrating SIP‑based communication systems across the enterprise for improved reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. What you’ll do Plan, execute, and deliver the SIP consolidation project within agreed timelines, scope, and budget. Work closely with network engineers, VoIP specialists, and vendors to design and implement SIP architecture improvements. Engage with internal teams and external partners to align requirements and manage expectations. Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards. Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular progress updates to senior leadership. Drive adoption of new SIP solutions and ensure minimal disruption during migration. You will also Develop, maintain and monitor project plans internally and where external build schedules apply. Ensure all project documentation is maintained and kept up to date such as floor plans, RAID logs and Change Orders. Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenditure against forecast and controlling necessary Change Orders. Facilitate regular project meetings and produce clear, concise status reporting. Support technical teams in issue resolution and escalation management. The successful Project Manager will be able to demonstrate Proven experience managing IT infrastructure projects, ideally involving telephony or SIP technologies. Strong understanding of VoIP systems, SIP protocols, and network fundamentals. Familiarity with PBX systems, SBCs (Session Border Controllers), and cloud telephony solutions. Excellent project management skills (Agile/Waterfall), including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and executive presentations. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Experience delivering estates projects within the legal sector. What’s in it for you?
