Construction Management Apprenticeship

In Construction Management, you will assist the project team in the daily control, management and coordination of construction activities to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the required safety, environmental and quality standards. Responsibilities Producing and monitoring short-term programmes Reading programme and design drawings and administering daily progress records to ensure that site works progress Contributing to package, coordination, safety and site progress meetings Ensuring safe project working practices are adhered to for all site personnel, taking appropriate action where necessary Assisting Construction Managers with various elements of the build Establishing key relationships with the trade contractors, setting up clear lines of communication to coordinate labour and help address issues that may arise, identify risk of activities and encourage all employees to demonstrate safety‑conscious behaviours Assess, identify and record the environmental impact of projects Assist in the implementation of the most appropriate solutions for construction projects Use effective management principles and be able to supervise construction workers Understand overall plan for project and measure and record progress against plan Assess and report on quality standards and assist in commissioning of finished construction projects Understand financial and legal constraints and measure and record progress against budget Qualifications GCSE in any subject (Grade 4 or higher) GCSE English (Grade 4 or higher) GCSE Mathematics (Grade 4 or higher) A Level in any subject (Grade C or higher) A Level Mathematics (Grade C or higher) Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know. Compensation & Conditions £22,000 a year Check minimum wage rates A permanent role from the moment you join Taxable travel allowance to cover expenses between your home, workplace, and place of study Salary increases as you progress and complete the development programme Training course Construction site supervisor (level 4) Hours & Schedule Monday – Friday, typical hours 9am – 5am (may vary due to changing demands of a project) 38 hours a week Start date: Monday 7 September 2026 Duration: 4 years #J-18808-Ljbffr
