Technology Transformation Manager

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Technology Transformation Manager to join our Digital Technology Solutions team and accelerate our capabilities to deliver the underpinning technology to enable our business ambitions.The successful candidate will plan, direct and co-ordinate activities to manage and implement complex tax programmes from contract / proposal initiation to full integration with "business as usual". Programme involves the alignment of technology programme objectives with business objectives and authorising the selection and planning of related projects and activities. Here you will plan, schedule, monitor and report on activities, uptake and financials related to the programme, ensuring that there are appropriate and effective governance arrangements, supported by comprehensive reporting and communication with senior stakeholders.You’ll also be required to manage the transition into run from the programme. This role will suit ambitious individuals who want to advance their careers in a dynamic change environment. For the right individual with a passion for new technology, this role will provide direct experience of how technology can transform business operations and create innovative, AI enabled client services.This is a Fixed Term Contract role for 12 months to be based at our Bristol office. We will also consider applications to be based at our Birmingham office.ResponsibilitiesAs a Technology Transformation Manager, your responsibilities will include among others,Play a lead role in driving transformational change through technology in S&W’s tax practice, through building relationships and providing the required support and training to your teamMaintain a project through the delivery phases, implementing to live and transitioning into serviceAble to lead a team through the different phases of the delivery lifecycleUnderstand the different phases of product delivery and can contribute to, plan or run theseWork independently to manage various dependencies and interdependencies across teams and departments as a whole to ensure that projects are delivered on timeWorking closely with our Lab for digital and AI innovation, helping plan and create the solutions through iterative experimentation and testingContributing to the work of the community, building successful teams through understanding team styles and influencing as well as motivating team members.
