Your Role Our Enterprise Data Analytics (EDA) Capability Unit is the home of experts in data & AI strategy, innovation, transformation and enablement, supporting clients in using advanced data, analytics and AI solutions to solve complex business problems. This high‑profile Vice President role contributes to leadership across both the enterprise data analytics capability unit and our public‑sector client accounts. Key responsibilities include: New business focused on public‑sector clients and selling consulting opportunities in excess of £4 m per year. Thought‑leadership and team‑management activities. Leadership in one of our core capability areas – Operational Analytics, Data & AI Strategy, Data & AI Innovation, Data & AI Factory – with a focus on the public sector. Set direction, drive business, model values and behaviours, coach and develop junior members. Grow the EDA capability and develop offers with the leadership team. Manage performance of large cross‑sector teams, support career growth, guide L&D priorities, drive recruitment. Build long‑lasting senior client relationships and a sustainable business‑development pipeline. Inspire public‑sector clients on innovating with AI, data science and analytics. Help clients design data strategies, scale data‑science solutions and use insight to optimise and automate decision‑making. Selling, leading, and managing large delivery programmes with data and analytics at the centre. Create thought leadership and new propositions that reflect Capgemini Invent’s position as a leading AI, data science and analytics consultancy. Additional growth opportunities include: Business development – leading proposals, RFPs, bids, client pitches, event hosting. Internal contribution – campaign development, think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development. Learning & development – training, certifications, skill demand support. Your Profile You are already a leader within public‑sector consulting in AI, data and analytics and ready to take your career to the next level. Experience at a similar level leading data and AI teams within a large consultancy, and relationships at senior levels in multiple public‑sector organisations. Specific background: Strong existing relationships with senior UK public‑sector clients in AI, data science and analytics. Experience defining data strategies and shaping AI or data‑science services and solutions that deliver client vision, integrated across technology and business functions. Deep understanding of AI trends and their impact on public‑sector clients. Experience leading large data‑driven transformation programmes in the public sector. Required skills and experience: Strong management‑consulting experience with proven success in AI, data science or analytics in the public sector. Track record in new‑business development across the sales lifecycle; personal annual sales target of ~£4 m consulting business. Ability to succeed in a matrixed organisation and enlist peer support for solutions. Credibility and personal impact – respected by colleagues and clients. Versatility, collaborative style, empathy, confidence, focused on client outcomes. Passion to shape, motivate and deliver AI, data science and analytics work.
