Help build and keep the nation's critical infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.Reporting into the Head of Infrastructure Operations, the Network and Security Engineer is key to supporting Telent transformational programmes and continual service improvement, providing design, implementation and support of business-critical systems across the Telent ICT estate. This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to be in our Warwick HQ 1-2 days per week, as well as ad-hoc travel on occasion.What You'll Do:Design and implement security & networking solutions through to operational support, working across multi-supplier/multi-platform environments within the Telent group.Support the delivery of Security Architectures/Strategies as part of a broader Enterprise and IS/IT Architecture.Evaluate emerging technologies and deliver proof-of-value environments to support business needs.Produce, peer-review, and maintain high-level and low-level technical documentation and network schematics.Develop, implement, and maintain processes to ensure the continued security and efficiency of Telent networks.Identify and mitigate technology and service risks.Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rota (one week per month).Who You Are:We welcome applicants from all backgrounds who have experience in network security, routing, and switching.
