We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team, focusing on a key contract covering modern office spaces along the M3 corridor.This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a mobile role and takes pride in their work.The RoleAs a Mobile Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a variety of commercial office buildings. Your daily tasks will include:Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems.Conducting fault-finding and repairs to ensure minimal disruption to the client.Performing minor electrical installations and project works.Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with current Health & Safety legislation and the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).Maintaining clear and accurate records of all work completed.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a fully qualified and experienced electrician with a strong background in commercial maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess:Essential Qualifications:City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent.18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) certification.Desirable Qualifications:City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) in Testing and Inspection.Experience & Skills:Proven experience working in a similar maintenance role within commercial environments (offices, retail, etc.).A full UK Driving Licence.Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.Willingness to participate in the on-call rota.What We OfferIn return for your skills and dedication, we offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package:Competitive Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, based on experience.Company Vehicle: A fully equipped company van and a fuel card are provided.On-Call & Overtime: Participation in a 1-in-7 on-call rota with a standby allowance and opportunities for overtime.Annual Leave: 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.Pension: A company pension scheme.Career Development: Opportunities for further training and career progression within a growing company.Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
