Food Service Assistant

You must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks. Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Food Service Assistant to join our team working at HMP Birmingham B18 4AS. As a Food Service Assistant, you will mainly be working front‑of‑house. You will support day‑to‑day operations by preparing basic food and serving food and beverages to our customers, alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back‑of‑house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site. A day in the life of a Food Service Assistant: You will be preparing basic food and serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is always provided. Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house. Operating the till and processing cash and card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly. You will also be serving on the food counters and upselling products/sizes. You will be set up for success if you have: Previous customer facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site. Been resident in the UK for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work. The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
