CNC Wood Machinist Location: Stourport-on-SevernHours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30Pay: From £12.21 per hour (DOE)Job Type: Temp to Perm We are looking for an experienced CNC Wood Machinist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with CNC machinery, edgebanders, or traditional woodworking equipment. This is a great opportunity to secure a long‑term role with ongoing training and progression. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC wood machining equipment to cut, shape, and finish components Use traditional woodworking machines such as spindle moulders, table saws, and planer/thicknessers Read and follow technical drawings, measurements, and job sheets Carry out quality checks on all finished parts Maintain machines and report any faults or required maintenance Work with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines What We're Looking For Experience working with CNC machines (wood preferred) Experience with edgebanders or traditional wood machinery Ability to read basic technical drawings and follow instructions Strong attention to detail and focus on quality Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team Previous experience in wood machining or carpentry is essential Benefits Competitive hourly pay depending on experience Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term career potential Training and development provided Supportive and friendly team environment Opportunity to progress within a growing company #J-18808-Ljbffr
