Care Assistant – Care Concern Group Care and Support - Hazelwood Care Home Contract: Full Time | Salary: £12.21 per hour | Shift Type: Days | Contracted hours: 48 Our service is a hidden gem located in the lovely north Kent countryside and is a purpose-built care home, dedicated to supporting residents in making the most of every day. We provide Nursing, Residential, Dementia & Respite Care for 50 residents. As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our close-knit care team, ensuring our residents receive exceptional care and support, helping them with daily routines, promoting independence, and prioritising their health and happiness. Personalized Care: Follow each resident’s personalised care plan. Health & Wellbeing: Monitor health and communicate concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager. Champion Dignity: Uphold dignity and respect for each resident. Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and staff. Safety & Comfort: Maintain clean, safe, comfortable spaces and respond to emergencies. Nutritional Support: Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking. Spread Smiles: Bring joy and make them smile every day. About You Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care preferred; relevant experience or passion for care welcomed. Experience: Ideally 6 months as a Care Assistant, but passion and transferable skills considered. Passion: Genuine interest in caring for the elderly and delivering excellent service.
