Water Treatment Estimator

Here is the opportunity to work within an acclaimed water treatment company known for their expertise in all aspects of water treatment/hygiene and legionella services. Our client is currently recruiting an experienced and dedicated Water Treatment Estimator based in and around the Reading area. The ideal candidate will have experience in water treatment in providing technical services in domestic and specialist water environments. Knowledge or experience of Pre commissioning would also be beneficial within the role. The successful candidate will be liaising with clients to provide estimates / quotation for works needed. The client will consider candidates with minimal experience. Consideration will be given to applications from Guildford, Reigate, Woking, and the surrounding areas. Experience & Qualifications Suitable experience working within the water treatment industry. Previous knowledge of Pre commissioning / flushing works would be beneficial to this role. Previous experience within an estimator role. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of legionella control. Ideally have completed of basic legionella awareness training. Good IT skills, including competency in MS Office. Experience in planning and controlling the delivery of work. Postholder responsibilities Meeting and liaising with clients to provide estimates and quotations for water treatment works. Assist with ensuring that all paper wok and associated reports are completed, reviewed correctly and issued within agreed time scale. Provide support to on site water treatment engineers / legionella risk assessments. Working closely with engineers / risk assessor; reviewing all the planned and reactive work required and delivery approach. Present yourself in a professional manner when supporting the team and customers. Ensure that all works are done to a high standard and completed within the time frame. Make sure that access arrangements are in place. Support business growth and retain existing customers through demonstrating a level of professional manner within the role. Keeping track of the status of work as it moves through to the end of the process ready for financial completion. Ensure that you are following health and safety legislation, Specific company requirements that have been approved by the H&S Executive and the latest regulation of codes and good practice. Overall the successful applicant will be hardworking with a good work ethic and an adaptable approach towards work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently to agreed timescales and must be prepared to travel to designated sites as per client’s requirements.
