This successful and rapidly expanding water treatment company is now looking to recruit an experienced and competent Water Treatment Supervisor/Plumber based in and around the Birmingham area. The successful postholder will be experienced in carrying out water treatment duties such as closed system and cooling tower analysis as well as cleaning and chlorination. The ideal candidate will also be a qualified plumber. Consideration will be given to applications from Wolverhampton, Solihull, Stourbridge, Walsall, and the surrounding areas. Qualifications & experience Ideally, the applicant will come from a strong technical/chemical/supervisory/water treatment and management background. Previous experience working in this role within the water treatment industry. Good working knowledge of the water treatment/plumbing industry procedures/legislation. Will have good planning, organisational and people management skills. Must have NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing. Key Role Installation & maintenance of water softeners. Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, boilers and cooling towers, steam boilers, etc. Planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment. Carry out routine temperature checks, TMVs, monitoring and analysing air & water systems. Allocation of work. Overseeing the Water Treatment Engineers on sites. Maintenance and remediation duties. Involvement with training – Health & Safety and technical. Attending meetings when required. Carrying out surveys, quotations, audits and inspections etc. Building and maintaining good relationships with new and existing clients.
