As a Secure Facilities Operations Specialist you'll serve as the strategic owner of AWS facilities that are critical to region operations. You'll be surrounded by people who are passionate about cloud computing, believe that first class service is critical to customer success, and are committed to improvement.Key job responsibilities include:Manage Facilities budget, purchasing, and strategic resource allocationCoordinate facility improvements and maintenance schedulingOversee site planning, seating allocation, and facility utilisation reportingDevelop and maintain power event procedures and operational runbooksDrive security standards and site parity across facilitiesDevelop long-term capacity roadmap with 10-year horizonManage strategic infrastructure upgradesBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersA day in the life: You'll start your day reviewing facility operations status and coordinating with various stakeholders. You might attend meetings with our global facilities team to plan maintenance schedules, work with Security teams to ensure compliance, or develop strategic plans for facility improvements. You'll manage seating allocations and respond to facility-related inquiries.
