About The RoleWe are looking to strengthen our Construction team with an Electrical Site Supervisor based within the Thames Region.You will report directly to the Regional Commissioning Manager and your role will supervise and control all electrical site activities in the most efficient manner, to the specification and within the contract time without risk to the health and safety of all concerned and providing a quality end product, ensuring a quality installation as the work progresses.Key responsibilitiesSupervision of site electrical installationsEnsuring SHE standards are maintained and safe systems of work are being adhered toEnsuring a high-quality product is being produced in line with current standards and specificationsVerification of new electrical systemsSafe isolation of LV electrical systemsMonitor supply chain performance and programmeReview and monitor supplier inspection and test plans ensuring they are up to date and relevant to the work activityAttend site inductions and toolbox talksSupport commissioning activities where requiredAttend collaborative planning meetings and have an active role in developing site delivery programmesAs Electrical Appointed Person, ensure electrical safety rules are adhered to and supporting documentation is produced in line with CMDP electrical safety rulesCarry out electrical isolationsCarry out regular electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipmentHold 121s with supply chain supervisors as required ensuring take 5s are carried outAssist with compilation of project takeover documentationOversee electrical testing is being undertaken in line with BS7671, review test results against guidance note 3 and manufacturers literatureIssue limitation of access permitsKeep a daily diary of site activitiesAbout YouQualification RequirementsSSSTS or SMSTS - RequiredAppointed Person Status - RequiredFAAW - RequiredECS card - RequiredC&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations - RequiredNVQ Level 3 in electrical installations - RequiredIEE 18th edition wiring regs - Required2391 Test and Inspect - PreferredPrevious experience in a similar role is essentialAbout UsMWH Treatment is an integrated design and build provider working in the water sector.
