Executive Assistant Temporary (Contract) Derbyshire Pay: Competitive About the Role Are you an organised, proactive administrator experienced in supporting senior leaders? We are recruiting on behalf of a well regarded Ofsted rated further education college in Derbyshire, seeking an Executive Assistant to provide vital support to their leadership team. This is a 3 month contract (with potential to extend), starting ASAP. What You ll Be Doing Provide high-level administrative and diary support to senior management (C suite level) managing diaries, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and acting as the main point of contact internally and externally. Take responsibility for minute taking, preparing action logs, and tracking follow‑up actions to support decision‑making and project delivery. Support with project and event coordination helping to organise college events, staff meetings, and internal/external engagements. Handle routine office tasks: correspondence, documentation, data management, and liaising with stakeholders across departments. Flexibility to support a variety of needs and priorities across the senior team during a demanding and fast‑paced period. What We re Looking For Proven experience supporting senior leaders or C suite executives ideally in an education or similar environment. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy setting. Strong communication skills both written and verbal to liaise with staff, stakeholders and external contacts professionally. A high level of professionalism and discretion handling confidential information and acting as a trusted point of contact. Confidence using Microsoft 365 and other office software, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems. Experience with minute‑taking, action logs, or project coordination is highly desirable.
