We are committed to recruiting dedicated professionals and welcome applications from exceptional candidates, valuing training and diversity in an inclusive workforce.ResponsibilitiesReport directly to and collaborate with the Board to ensure performance targets are metManage and oversee complex family mattersOversee all aspects of Family work including divorce, financial disputes and remedies; international elements of child abduction/adoption; injunctions/non-molestation orders; and provide technical expertise and guidance to team membersSupervise Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors and Caseworkers to manage caseloads and complexitiesAssist with delivery of training and development in the departmentUndertake a range of Family law matters and provide advocacy where appropriateMaintain a proactive approach, strong client care skills, and an interest in business development and marketing to supplement work volumesQualifications3+ years PQEClean, valid Practising Certificate at the time of applyingOne of the following accreditations:Law Society Family Law Panel (Advanced) with Child Abduction and WardshipResolution Accredited Specialist - Child Abduction SpecialistListed on the ICACU accredited panelExperience as a Family Law Solicitor with a track record in complex and sensitive child abduction casesStrong management skillsTeam player who can foster a culture of positive change and encourage cross-referralsProven supervisory experience and ability to work to KPIsProactive professional with excellent client care and ability to handle vulnerable clients in Family Law mattersExcellent networking and communication skills to market the firm and generate new businessComprehensive knowledge of publicly funded family law and the ability to manage privately funded casesExcellent client care and advocacy skillsExcellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and document managementBenefitsA fantastic supportive teamStrong career progression with support for legal awards and professional recognitionThe recruitment process will fully comply with GDPR and other applicable laws.
