The School of Nursing and Midwifery has a reputation for contemporary and innovative Nursing and Midwifery provision. Responsibilities Deliver the pre‑registration portfolio, including BSc and apprenticeship provision, teaching a range of core subjects. Adopt a flexible approach to the subject material and design teaching sessions that maximise the integration of theory into practice. Promote academic enquiry and develop critical thinking in students, supporting safe, effective, and evidence‑based practice. Lead agreed modules, assess students, and supervise projects. The School of Nursing and Midwifery upholds the University's mission to inspire those who teach and those who learn, in an inclusive way. The post holder will be provided with the opportunity to advance their professional development to meet the needs of the post and the objectives of the school. The post will mainly be based at our satellite campus in Dudley, but may require travel to our Worcester campus on occasions. Interview Process On‑site teaching session: Friday 16th January 2025 Remote interview for successful candidates: Friday 23rd January 2025 Benefits Annual incremental increase for Lecturer up to £42,882, with the opportunity to progress further; for Senior Lecturer up to £55,755, with progression to £60,907 subject to performance and the university reward scheme. 47 days leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays and University closure days).
