Senior Research Fellow / Reader The Centre for Health Economics (CHE) at the University of York is seeking to appoint a Senior Research Fellow / Reader in health economics on a full‑time open contract (part‑time applications at a minimum of 0.8 FTE will also be considered). The role will contribute a proportion of the time to our programme of technology assessment for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). Responsibilities Contribute a proportion of time to the NICE technology assessment programme. Qualifications PhD or equivalent research experience in economics applied to health or closely related quantitative subject. Experience of delivering sustained research output of high quality with evidence of impact and esteem. Proven experience of attracting and obtaining significant external research funding. Expert knowledge and understanding of economic evaluation and health technology assessment. Experience of building and leading successful research teams.
