About the Role Reception / Administration Staff – Emergency Services. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player who displays flexibility and meticulous attention to detail, providing patients with a high quality service. Part‑Time 17.5 hours a week (night receptionist). Shift pattern: 7.5 hour shifts 22‑06, rolling rota 4 on 8 off, adaptable to service demands. Work all shifts 22‑06. Emergency Services covers A/E and UTC. The post is predominantly in the Emergency Department but requires flexibility for other areas within Emergency Services. Key Duties Patient registration on the Cerner IT program (full training provided). Admissions / Discharges, scanning, appointment booking and team support for Emergency Services. First point of contact for patients, visitors and health care professionals, receiving them courteously. Qualifications NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent. Proven track record in administration, front line customer service. Clear communication, follow instructions, positive enthusiastic approach, excellent customer service skills. Previous experience desirable but not essential. Sound overall administration & IT skills required. Working Hours 24 hour service, flexible staff needed for various shift patterns.
