You will be skilled at delivering customer satisfaction through improved product quality and be capable of investigating non-conformance to generate process change to drive performance and reduce waste and low quality output. Responsibilities Responsible for driving improvements in product quality and service levels to deliver excellent standards of customer care, with regular feedback for continuous improvement. Lead the introduction of best practice quality techniques at the shop-floor level such as standard work, quality alerts and mistake proofing. Achieve reductions in quality defects, damages and process errors for an overall reduction in the cost of poor quality. Responsible for effective and timely response to any customer concerns raised. Provide visible leadership in Quality standards, behaviours and systems of work. Responsible for effective Quality policies and systems for improved performance. Promote a positive Quality culture with engagement, training and regular audits. Lead Quality management reviews and drive improved standards. Responsible for measurement and testing of products for quality verification, together with adopting technology such as CMM systems for improving accuracy and repeatability. Lead introduction of best practice quality improvements using PDCA problem solving and CI techniques. Maintain excellent standards of Quality CI application, communication, personal discipline, time management, problem solving, continuous improvement and employee engagement. Maintain focused Quality KPIs to monitor improvements, promote new ideas and CI learning. Support and ensure full compliance with internal and external Quality audits. Ensure full compliance with Quality standards and industry regulations, including ISO 9001. Responsible for driving improved Quality CI standards with suppliers. Responsible for quality documentation, process capability studies, auditing and maintaining equipment calibrations. Ensure any other duties as required to support the quality function in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Qualifications Experience in delivering and developing ISO 9001 in a production environment. Skilled at investigating non-conformances to generate process changes that drive performance and reduce waste and low quality output. Ability to implement best practice quality techniques at shop-floor level (e.g., standard work, quality alerts, mistake proofing). Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage employees and drive continuous improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
