Lead Midwife

We are looking for motivated passionate and experienced midwives to join our team at Dudley to take on the role of Lead midwife for Community. The successful candidate will take responsible for the safe daily leadership of the Community setting. They will be responsible for the smooth and effective running of the service as well as providing effective leadership to all staff. They will respond appropriately to emergencies and escalate concerns as required. They will have excellent communication skills, and be a team player with a focus on safety and great patient experience.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be responsible for the daily management of Community, organising the service activities, resources, staff team and capacity. The post holder will be responsible for the line management of an allocated and defined caseload of staff.
