Our extensive range of selective soldering machines caters to the diverse demands of predominantly the Defence, Aerospace and all other PCB manufacturing sectors. Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site & International travel role for a Service Engineer based in Chelmsford. The Service Engineer will be responsible for performing troubleshooting tasks, providing technical support, and conducting maintenance and repair of selective soldering equipment. The role also involves attending to field service calls, ensuring proper equipment functionality, and maintaining excellent communication with clients to address their needs effectively. Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues through troubleshooting and maintenance & repair skills. Experience in providing field service and technical support. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to clients and team members. Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail. Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in engineering or a related field are a plus. Willingness to travel to customer sites as part of the role requirements, including international travel. Previous experience in the selective soldering or electronics industry is advantageous. Requirements of the Role 5+ Years electro/mechanical experience is advantageous. Full clean driving licence & Valid Passport.
