Driver's Mate – Northampton Start your day early with a rewarding role at a leading logistics operation Our client, based in Northampton, is seeking a reliable Driver's Mate to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contribution to delivering products efficiently makes a real difference. You'll receive full training on tail lift operation and handling cages, so no prior experience is necessary Have you worked for DHL, Wincanton or Palletforce? If so, this could be the perfect role for you Use your skills in a fast‑paced logistics setting and join a team where your hard work is recognised. Why you'll love this role £13.00 per hour (approximately £585 per week based on a 45‑hour week) Monday to Friday shifts with an early start at 6 am – enjoy your weekends free Temp to perm contract offering job security and career progression Full training on tail lift use and handling cages – develop valuable new skills Work with a friendly, supportive team in a well‑established logistics environment What you'll be doing Assisting the driver with loading and unloading deliveries, particularly cages of products Performing some heavy lifting safely and efficiently Ensuring products are handled with care during transportation Operating tail lifts after training to facilitate smooth deliveries Maintaining health and safety standards at all times Supporting the delivery process to ensure timely and accurate drop-offs What we're looking for A reliable and hardworking individual with a strong work ethic Ability to start work at 6 am and commit to Monday to Friday shifts Willingness to perform manual handling and heavy lifting tasks Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills Good communication skills and a team player mindset Interested?
