We are currently looking for an experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in South East London, which is easily accessible via public transport. About the role As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will be working in both a 19-bed Highly Specialist Cognitive-Behavioural ward and a Neurorehabilitation ward with 18 beds. Providing specialist treatment to patients with physical and cognitive impairments resulting from an acquired / traumatic brain injury. Prescribe and provide equipment for our patients during their rehabilitation journey. Provide intervention as part of an MDT approach and be involved in MDT service developments. Ensure effective and timely communication at all levels (with patients, families, the MDT and external agencies). Contribute to the in-service education and training programme for the wider MDT. Supervise junior staff including assistants and students.
