We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced BI Developer to join our Bristol Technology team. What will you be doing? The BI Developer will be responsible for developing and supporting key information management reporting systems to enable the successful reporting on of our key business data. The role holder will also contribute to the architectural strategy for the BI platforms and solutions and move the company forward in terms of IT capability and maturity in using information management systems. Key job accountabilities: Develop solutions to address current and future information system needs Contribute to architecture roadmaps and decisions Collaborate effectively with your colleagues and business customers Ensure the continued healthy operation of live systems About you: To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate some of the following: Proficient user of Analytical tools, pref. PowerBI and SAP Business Objects Knowledge of PowerBI best practice, Power Query vs DAX etc Experience of using Google Analytics Data Quality Reports / Dashboards Knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts Strong SQL skills Knowledge of Python would be advantageous Appreciation of Big Data, Machine Learning and AI features and capabilities Working knowledge of Cloud Relational Database Management Systems, especially Snowflake We know it is unusual for someone to tick every box so, if you don’t meet all the criteria, but demonstrate most of the skills and experience we are looking for, and have the enthusiasm to work with us, go ahead and apply.
