OverviewWere looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Payroll Advisor to join our Finance team. This isn9t just a processing role were seeking someone with a solid fundamental understanding of end to end payroll operations who can confidently navigate the full payroll lifecycle and contribute to continuous improvement.If you thrive in a fast paced environment enjoy solving complex payroll challenges and want to play a pivotal role in ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time this could be your next move.As a Payroll Advisor youll be part of a well-established team responsible for processing payroll for over 20000 crew members every fortnight plus two monthly payrolls for our salaried staff. Youll be involved in everything from running payroll cycles and resolving queries to supporting system implementations and shaping future processes.ResponsibilitiesOversee and execute accurate timely payroll for both fortnightly and monthly cyclesResolve payroll queries with professionalism and a customer-first mindsetSupport the implementation of new systems and processes including our transition to Zellis ResourceLinkCollaborate with cross-functional teams to meet department-wide goalsSafeguard payroll data integrity and securityAssist with year-end processing reporting and complianceQualificationsMinimum 2 years experience in full end-to-end payrollCIPP qualification (or working towards it)Strong grasp of UK payroll and pension legislationExperience in a fast-paced change-driven environmentA mindset geared toward continuous improvement and problem-solvingMeticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office especially ExcelExperience with Zellis HCM ResourceLink is a plusFamiliarity with SOX controls RRS PowerBI or system implementation is advantageousWhat Youll GetCompetitive salary bonus and cash allowanceHybrid working with flexibility between home and officeFree lunch gym access and industry-leading benefitsAccess to world-class learning and developmentA collaborative inclusive culture where your voice mattersAdditional InformationBuilding a Better McDonaldsAt McDonalds our vision is to be the UKs and Irelands best-loved restaurant.
