Job DescriptionJob Title: Audit and Accounts SeniorClient: Accountancy PracticeThe RoleAs part of the audit and accounts team, you will have the chance to work closely with clients, contributing to a team that helps them achieve their business and personal goals. Their clients represent a wide range of sectors and regions, united by their innovative ideas and successful enterprises. You will play a key role in supporting their success by working collaboratively with the practice's partners. Clients rely on your expertise for making crucial business decisions and developing strategies, offering excellent learning opportunities for staff, as business advice is a significant aspect of the role.ResponsibilitiesPreparing accounts for statutory, management, and ad hoc purposesPlanning, budgeting, finalizing audit files, and managing the audit process efficientlyCollaborating with the team to meet all deadlines and exceed client expectationsDelegating and overseeing work, providing learning strategies for traineesMentoring and supporting traineesIdentifying potential cost-saving opportunities or improvements for clients by challenging existing methodologiesSupporting Managers and Partners with their portfolios and special projectsRequirementsStrong team player with the ability to work independentlyQualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) (ideally)Proficiency in various accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, and Iris is advantageous but not essential)Solid audit experience, or a strong willingness to learnExcellent analytical skills with a commercial approach to assignmentsStrong organisational and project management skills, with experience in managing audit and accounts preparation from planning to completionConfident communicator with excellent written and verbal skillsProactive and determined attitudeBenefitsCompetitive salaryFlexible working - hybrid working and flexible start and finish timesEnhanced holiday allowanceCollaborative team culture with support and genuine progression opportunitiesFor more information, or a confidential conversation on your career options, please contact Kourtney Luckett; kourtney@tpfrecruitment.com; 01483 900 940.We have many Accounts and Audit roles across Surrey, and so if the role sounds great but the location or seniority isn't perfect, please get in touch for more local opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
