Project Manager - Hartlepool Amentum is excited to offer you the Project Manager role supporting EDF Energy Nuclear Generation at Hartlepool Power Station. As part of our Nuclear Power Engineering & Technical Solutions (NPETS) business, you will manage complex, cross‑functional projects across the nuclear lifecycle, delivering safe, on‑time, on‑budget outcomes. Key responsibilities The project manager sets the project execution strategy in agreement with the client Project Project Manager (PPM), leading a cross‑functional team to deliver safely in line with company policies and achieving established goals within the agreed baseline. Based at EDF Hartlepool Power Station, you will report to our company Operations Manager while directly accountable to the client for project delivery and occasional business travel to other UK sites. Demonstrate proven track record working within highly regulated environments with high safety standards and a culture of continuous improvement. Exhibit excellent communication, organisational skills and a results‑focused, team‑centred approach. Education, Experience and Skills Degree educated, ideally in engineering or related subject. APMP formal project management qualification or equivalent and thorough understanding of modern project management techniques within complex, multi‑functional organisations. Demonstrable understanding of Safety Cases, relevant Health and Safety and Environment legislation. Solid understanding of quality assurance, commercial, contractual and financial project drivers. Experience of managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, including integrated project team delivery. Experience of estimating, cost control, planning and commercial awareness including business case preparation. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, estimating, scheduling, programming, risk tools and Earned Value tools with high‑level analytical, problem‑solving ability.
