Mechanical Project Manager Required
We’re partnered with a leading M&E Contractor delivering complex Defence, Life Science and Commercial projects across the UK. With individual schemes valued at £20M+, they’re now looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to take ownership of a flagship MOD Manufacturing facility with offices attached.
The Role
As Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering a £20M M&E package, leading all mechanical elements from project start-up through to commissioning and handover. You’ll act as the key interface between the client, main contractor and internal teams, ensuring programme, quality and budgetary targets are achieved.
This is a career-defining opportunity to lead one of the UK’s most significant MOD developments, working alongside senior leadership and some of the sector’s most respected Project and Contracts Managers.
Package
* £60,000 – £75,000 Base Salary
* £5,000 Car Allowance

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate the mechanical package on a £20M M&E project.
* Attend project start-up and manage delivery to programme, budget and specification.
* Collate and track technical submittals, ensuring approvals are achieved.
* Manage labour tracker and issue weekly progress reports.
* Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.
* Ensure adequate materials, construction and commissioning programmes are in place.
* Liaise with main contractors, client teams and subcontractors to maintain progress.
* Implement commissioning plans and manage K&M handover process.
About You
* Proven Project Management experience delivering large-scale mechanical packages (£10M+).
* Strong technical knowledge across building services, ideally with Defence or high-security project experience.
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills, able to lead meetings and manage multiple stakeholders.
* Organised and detail-driven, with the ability to keep complex projects on track
