Overtime Opportunity: If you prefer an early start, opt for the 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM shift with additional overtime. Key Responsibilities Vehicle Accessory Fitting: Install high‑quality accessories like tow bars, bull bars, snorkels, suspensions, side steps, long‑range tanks, and GVM upgrades on a range of 4WD vehicles. Electrical Installations: Fit electrical systems such as spotlights, light bars, dual battery systems, UHF radios, and brake controllers, ensuring everything is wired to perfection. Pre‑Delivery Inspections: Perform thorough assessments and pre‑delivery checks to guarantee vehicles are fully equipped and ready for customer delivery. Apprentice Mentorship: Guide and train apprentices, sharing your expertise and ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and industry standards. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new automotive systems, both electrical and mechanical, to keep your skills sharp and ensure your work is always at the cutting edge. Vehicle Testing: Test drive vehicles to verify successful installations and repairs. Safety First: Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized work environment at all times. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in vehicle accessory fitting and automotive electrical installations. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety in all aspects of your work. Ability to train and guide apprentices, helping them develop in the trade. A valid driver’s license. Relevant qualifications in automotive technology (Certificate III desirable).
