Specialist Clinical Psychologist – University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust We are looking for thoughtful, compassionate and innovative Specialist Clinical Psychologists to work in the NHS Children and Young People Gender Service (South West) – CYPGS SW. You will also work within wider Psychological Health Services, participating in a multi‑disciplinary team to develop, deliver and evaluate interventions. As part of this team you will be supported through supervision and will take part in training to enhance your skills. In addition to CYPGS SW duties you will have other clinical and professional roles depending on your interests and service demands, offering professional development and a variety of clinical work. Key Responsibilities Provide therapeutic services primarily within CYPGS SW and in paediatric medical and surgical specialties. Deliver psychological services including assessment, formulation and implementation of interventions for children, young people, adults and their families. Provide services in ward‑based and out‑patient settings as needed. Offer psychological advice, consultation, training and support to other professionals across the care pathway. Support the development and evaluation of services. Propose changes for service development, guidelines and protocols relevant to psychological health across care pathways.
