Base pay range Direct message the job poster from Anson McCade Location & Working Model: Stevenage – Fully onsite What you’ll be doing: Provide hands‑on technical support to electronic design engineers, assisting with test, diagnostics, and fault‑finding activities across analogue, digital, RF, and optical technologies. Support the design and manufacture of cutting‑edge electronic subsystems — including missile computers, actuation systems, data links, telemetry systems, and seekers. Carry out testing, prototyping, qualification, trials, and acceptance activities in a state‑of‑the‑art lab environment. Work with oscilloscopes, waveform generators, dataloggers, spectrum analysers, and other diagnostic equipment. Maintain accurate test documentation, contribute to data analysis, and support continuous improvement within production and development teams. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and contribute to new product introduction and research programmes. What we’re looking for: HNC or equivalent qualification in an electrical or electronic discipline. Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals and applied mathematics. Practical experience with testing and fault‑finding in a lab or production environment. Competence in using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, waveform generators, and spectrum analysers. Strong organisational and record‑keeping skills with good attention to detail. Experience supporting production or prototype environments. Familiarity with analogue, digital, RF, and optical technologies. Understanding of design processes, kitting logistics, and prototype progression. Confident communication and report‑writing skills.
