Role Part-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Job share/Part time Hours Job share / Part time Location Thirsk Pay Rate £120 to £140 per day Are you a driven Higher Level Teaching Assistant? Empowering Learning is working with a school in Thirsk who are looking for a HLTA for a long‑term role. Qualifications and Experience Have the Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 4 plus) and experience in the classroom. Self‑motivated and able to support pupils with Special Educational Needs. Creative and knowledgeable of different strategies for the classroom, with strong behaviour management skills. Organised and experienced in creating resources for use in the classroom. Excellent Maths, English and ICT skills. Experience working with pupils in intervention groups.
