We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Account Director to join a leading global advisory firm. This role suits someone with strong regulatory expertise who is ready to work on high-stakes issues across business, government, and policy. You will advise senior clients, manage key projects, and guide junior colleagues while shaping strategies that influence regulatory and political outcomes. Key Responsibilities for Regulatory Affairs Account Director Draft, proof, and edit client materials to the highest standard, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage multiple client projects, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations. Support, mentor, and guide executives and assistants within client teams. Develop expertise across different industry sectors and advisory areas. Build trusted relationships with clients, regulators, government officials, and colleagues. Strengthen your advisory voice through research, experience, and market awareness. Contribute to a collaborative, professional, and development-focused team culture. Key Requirements for Regulatory Affairs Account Director Strong knowledge of business, regulation, and current affairs in UK and European markets. Experience in a regulator, government department, or advisory role focused on regulatory issues. Understanding of business, finance, and politics with a passion for regulation and public affairs. Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills to translate complex insights into clear advice. Proven ability to manage projects, balance priorities, and deliver under pressure. Proactive, curious, and client-focused with outstanding attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills to build networks and trusted stakeholder relationships.
