Description Length of placement: 12 months Job Title: Undergraduate Electronic Systems Manufacturing Engineer Location: Rochester (Kent). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 5 days per week. Salary: £24,300 What you'll be doing: Supporting the production of appropriate department documentation, such as planning documents and training material. Liaising with other technical departments (i.e technicians, machine shop, new product introduction) to resolve manufacturing challenges or for planning purposes. Day to day support of our manufacturing cells including continuous improvement of cell layouts and processes. Understanding the importance of a Quality first mindset and some of the Quality tools we use (i.e auditing, non-conformance, concessions). Developing ad-hoc skills around tooling design, supporting additive manufacturing (i.e 3D printing) and CAD skills (AutoCAD, CREO). Running and management of the 3D print facility.
