Consultant – Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Forest House) We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist for our Adolescent In‑Patient Unit at Forest House, Radlett, Hertfordshire. Key Responsibilities Lead and provide clinical care to children and young people aged 13‑18 in an acute inpatient setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (psychologists, nurses, social workers, therapists) to deliver best practice care. Co‑ordinate assessments, family consultations and liaison with local CAMHS Tier 3 services. Participate in clinical governance, operational management and quality improvement initiatives. Support and mentor junior staff and trainees. Maintain specialist services for eating disorders under a dedicated eating‑disorder pathway. Qualifications & Experience Medical degree and full registration with GMC. Consultant level qualification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (CCT). Experience working in an adolescent inpatient setting preferred. Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills. Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous professional development.
