Our Acute Medical Unit (AMU) is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join our dedicated leadership team.The AMU is a fast-paced and rewarding environment where no two days are the same. We deliver high-quality, person-centred care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions. As part of our senior nursing team, you will play a pivotal role in leading, supporting, and inspiring staff to provide safe, effective, and responsive care.Main duties of the jobProvide visible clinical leadership and act as a role model for excellence in nursing practice.Work within our level 1 monitored area.Ensure the delivery of high standards of care in line with national and local guidelines.Foster a positive learning environment by mentoring and developing junior colleagues and students.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help drive service development within the AMU.Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure timely assessment, treatment, and transfer of patients.About usAt the Dudley Group our patients and staff are at the heart of all that we do and that is to provide a world class service that aligns with our vision of "excellent health care, improved health for all".
