Primary Class Teacher (The Baird Primary Academy) Location: The Baird Primary Academy, Parker Road, Hastings, East Sussex, TN34 3TH. Contract: Permanent. Closing date: Sunday 07 December 2025. The Baird Primary Academy have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to deliver high quality teaching to our pupils in KS1 to nurture, inspire and motivate them. You will have a sound understanding of the breadth of content covered across primary subjects combined with effective teaching, organisational and communication skills. Responsibilities Deliver engaging, high quality KS1 teaching across primary subjects. Maintain high standards of learning and pupil progress. Encourage every child to succeed. Work with children in an enthusiastic and positive manner. Be punctual and reliable. Qualifications & Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Prior experience teaching KS1 is desirable. Strong organisational and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Benefits Automatic annual pay increments.
