I’m partnering with a market-leading UK wedding venues group to find a Senior PHP React Developer to join their growing in‑house engineering team.They specialise in restoring stunning barns and walled gardens into premium wedding venues across the UK and are investing heavily in their digital platforms to match the quality of their venues.The opportunityYou’ll be a key senior engineer, owning features end‑to‑end across their web applications – from robust PHP back‑end services to modern, responsive React front ends. You’ll work closely with product, design and the rest of engineering to ship features that genuinely move the needle for couples and venue teams.There is also real scope to explore AI‑powered features – for example smarter search, recommendations or assistant‑style tools for couples – so if you’re already playing with AI/ML or keen to develop in this space, they’re very open to your ideas.What you’ll be doingDesigning, developing and maintaining web applications using PHP (Laravel/Symfony) and React.Building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with MySQL / PostgreSQL databases.Writing clean, well‑tested, maintainable code and helping to drive best practices.Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and tackling technical debt.Supporting and mentoring more junior engineers within the team.Collaborating with product and design to deliver features end‑to‑end.What we’re looking for5+ years of commercial software development experience.Strong PHP skills – experience with Laravel or Symfony is ideal.Good understanding of REST APIs and relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).Comfortable with Git and modern workflows (branching, PRs, code reviews).Experience with automated testing across back‑end and front‑end.A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills and the confidence to take ownership.Nice to have (not essential)Next.js or other React frameworks.Containerisation (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.Cloud experience (AWS, GCP or Azure).Experience or strong interest in AI/ML / LLMs and how they can enhance product features.Salary up to £70,000 (flexible for an outstanding match).2 days per week in Cirencester office – the rest is flexible / remote.2‑stage interview process – quick and transparent.Private, family‑run business with long‑term perspective and real ownership of product.Inclusive, people‑centred culture with a focus on collaboration rather than ego.DetailsSeniority level – Mid‑Senior levelEmployment type – Full‑timeJob function – Information TechnologyIndustries – HospitalityLocation – Cirencester – 2 days onsite / 3 days flexibleSalary – Up to £70,000 DOE (more for an exceptional candidate)Interested?Click apply or reach out to matthew.lannen@infosecpeople.co.uk for a confidential chat. #J-18808-Ljbffr
