Non Specific Symptoms Nurse Practitioner Join to apply for the Non Specific Symptoms Nurse Practitioner role at Make It Count Marketing. Job Summary The Non‑Specific Symptoms service at UHNM is at the forefront of developing new ways of working to improve the care and service for patients with non‑specific symptoms which may be caused by cancer. The aim is early diagnosis of cancer, extending the service across portal pathways to identify patients who will benefit from this pathway and running a pilot of self‑referral. Many patients visit their GP with vague or general symptoms such as weight loss and tiredness. These ‘non‑specific’ symptoms may be caused by serious disease, but the risk of serious disease is low; however early tests could help make a diagnosis quicker and treatment started sooner.
