Lecturer, BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance Department: Academic/Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) Location: London, East London Type of Contract: Full‑time, Permanent (40 hours per week). Job Overview: We are seeking lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. The role requires flexibility to teach on weekdays, evenings and weekends. Deliver management‑related modules in Accounting & Finance. Develop, update, and deliver comprehensive course materials. Plan, assess student work and ensure learning outcomes are met. Use a variety of teaching methods and materials. Engage in staff development, peer observations, meetings and administrative duties. Track and report student progress, attendance, completion and satisfaction. About You: Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject (PhD desirable). Have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the subject area. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the subject matter. Experience supervising student work and providing feedback. Accurate reporting and ability to maintain thorough records. Strong organisation and prioritisation ability under pressure. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills. Ability to work with diverse groups of people. Desirable: Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enrol in a teaching programme within the probationary period (complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent).
